Apprenticeships at DB Schenker in Australia, dual Certificate Program (Currently not offered in New Zealand)

In conjunction with My Freight Career, DB Schenker in Australia offers apprenticeship programs in:

• Certificate III in Transport and Distribution (Administration)
• Certificate III in Transport and Distribution (Warehousing and Storage)
• Certificate III in Business Administration
• Certificate III in Business (Office Administration)

The Certificate Program combines competency based study while gaining hand on work experience. The trainers have weekly meetings with the apprentices through their training manual.

My freight career will be the employer of the apprentice, with Schenker Australia Pty Ltd being the host employer.

What we are offering:

At DB Schenker, you will work independently within various departments. This will help you get first hand experience of the structure, of activities and work processes and of the department you are in.

In our larger offices our aim is to rotate the apprentice through Air & Ocean Operations, Logistics, Warehousing and Office Administration. In the smaller offices the apprentice would gain “well rounded” exposure by remaining in one role.
